Participation in the event “National Dialogue Between Youth Councils: European Integration” (03.09.2022, online)

On 3 September 2022, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine joined the event “National Dialogue Between Youth Councils: European Integration” organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine , European Youth Ambassadors, EU NEIGHBOURS east and the Ukrainian Association of Youth Councils . The event aimed to determine how young people can be involved into the processes of reforms and European integration.

Maryna POPATENKO, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of Ukraine, highlighted the role of the Ministry in the processes of European integration stressing created youth strategies and programs based on the basic principle of joint decision-making with young people and synchronized with European youth legislation.

Liliya ANTONYUK, National Coordinator of European Youth Ambassadors, EU NEIGHBOURS east, presented the initiative and noted the beginning of a new stage in the development of EU-UA relations.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, spoke about the role of the Erasmus+ Programme in the processes of European youth integration and presented wide range of exchange programs for young people and youth workers, as well organizational opportunities for further cooperation with European colleagues.
